the NIntendo Power article for the 3DS game pretty much confirmed LoS2 will be on Wii U without outright saying it.

It mentioned that the 3DS game serves as a link between LoS and LoS2, but it's not like the original was on a Nintendo platform!

I do think it'll be on WiiU, though. I thought it would have made a great launch game, but they missed that one.

Alucard might end up being the playable character, but I think it's likely we'll play as both. It's clear that Gabriel (Dracula) has plenty of enemies sent his way.

LoS itself wasn't THE BEST, although it was pretty enjoyable. The ending, on the other hand, set up for what could be one of the best sequels ever, and this trailer's off to a good start!
