..of 2011. It was the biggest letdown on Zelda's history. I'm tired of Nintendo ravaging its games with gimmicky controls. They did really well with Twilight Princess, and then they release this.

I'm not saying the game was terrible, but top 10 of 2011? Please. Unless we're talking top ten disappointments of 2011, then it would definitely make the list.

I think when they were making TP they were like "hey, let's take everything Okami is doing and make it way worse"

Once again, I was referring to the GC version. I didn't bother with the gimmick version. And if you're saying that SS is better than the GC version of TP, then....LOL.

There's definitely some games that are much better, but I'm curious of which ten games of the last year you would pick over SS. More of a curious question rather than a call-out, really.

There are plenty of games that destroy SS. Skyrim, Dead Space 2, Portal 2, Arkham City, Bastion, Minecraft, etc. And those are just the games I've played. I still haven't touched Dark Souls or Deus Ex: HR, but from what I've read, I'm sure I will like them more than SS. I would honestly even rank Dead Island and LA Noire ahead of it. While we're at it, we can include MGS HD. There were games I only played a quarter to halfway through and enjoyed it more than all of SS, Uncharted and Battlefield being two of them.

I will admit this, SS is probably the best Wii game of the year. But as we all know, lol Wii. And it was the only Wii game I played in 2011.

that's purely an aesthetic thing, not only do they borrow styles from SotC but also feature bosses inspired by that game in terms of gameplay mechanics

to be fair though, the boss fights are one of the few redeeming traits of TP...

Boring sig is boring

Sorry but Skyward Sword was awesome. TP was disappointing.

However Skyrim was probably the best game of 2011.

My favorite game is Final Fantasy VI.

The controls were one of the things that actually worked in Skyward Sword!

It's the game's pacing and structure that really ruin it.
