I think those 6 are all interesting choices. I'd probably vote for Boo and Aragorn (unless they were up against some other character I really like, of course).

Boo I always enjoyed from the Mario Party series. he was a great choice to have as the guy who stole coins from your opponents.

If you go with a Pokemon, we need to get Mewtwo a good seed so he can actually do some damage. Or maybe someone like Blastoise to see where he measures up to Charizard.

Eh, we've already seen what Mewtwo can do; for some reason, it doesn't have the same level of strength as the other RBY entrants we've had. I agree that Blastoise is a good idea, or perhaps Bulbasaur (you have to admit that unlike the other two starters, Bulbasaur would probably be stronger than its final form--partly because Venusaur is just so butt-ugly, and partly because of the anime--although Blastoise > Squirtle would be in spite of the anime seeing as how Ash's Squirtle never evolved either) ...I'm trying to think if there are any potentially strong Gen II entrants, since I agree that it's high time that GSC gets represented. I honestly can't think of any. Probably Entei or Suicune would be the strongest.

...Of course, this rivalry contest is the first one we've had since the release of B/W, so we've yet to gauge what it might be able to do. (Probably not much yet, though, as Pokémon seems to do best when it has nostalgia factor to work with.)

And yes, Smash Bros. 64 would be a great choice.

Dark Link is the ultimate wild card entry, especially if Link is removed from the bracket. He could go far, he could bomb early. It would certainly spice up the contest.

Getting SB to change his mind on whether he's allowed or not is the main thing, but one feedback ticket logically laying out the facts should make him change his mind. It's clearly a different character to regular Link.
