It's basically a farm house, that someone added on to by dropping a prefab right next to it and building a hallway between, then built basically a separate studio apartment in the addition's basement. So it's essentially two houses and an apartment joined together. Myself, the older roommate, and the couple each have their own section, though the utilities and some areas are shared. It's not exactly a huge place, only 3 bedrooms (plus the basement which is basically a large combined bedroom/livingroom), plus 2 kitchens (only one is an actual "kitchen", the second has everything you'd find in a kitchen but is called a "wet bar" for zoning reasons, the remaining "kitchen" is more like an actual bar), and 2 bathrooms (the basement bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower, no tub).

It saves a ton of money for each of us to have roommates. I would have difficulty affording the place alone, as would each of the individuals by themselves. It's also a bit too much house for a single person.
So kinda like this place I live in. It was a huge house but turned into nice units.
