1. Shift officials' messaging to be more firm and fierce, explaining in blunt and aggressive, non PR-friendly terms that this current administration is actively trying to turn America into an authoritarian state where everybody who isn't in the 1% will live miserable lives. Call crazy far-right fucks crazy and unhinged. Call them evil.
2. Quadruple-down on pointing out the morally-abhorrent things Republican officials and associates have said and done and relentlessly drive the point home that they're corrupt at best and a direct threat/danger to America at worst.
3. Take advantage of the Epstein files outrage and relentlessly remind Americans of examples of the far right being involved in child abuse scandals. Convince people that the far-right has been and will continue to be dangers to children whether it's jeopardizing their futures economically or directly putting them at risk of being abused.
4. Spend whatever money/means necessary on establishing any semblance of a left-leaning media ecosystem that relentlessly drives the point home that the fight against the 1% is an "all of us vs. a few of them" situation. Even take a page from the right's playbook and boost the visibility of terminally-online jabronis that paint the right out as evil and dangerous while trying to give them the same reach that the right/foreign misinformation campaigns had towards normies and boomers
5. Make the Democratic platform a combination of "saving America" from what MAGA did and a new, modern-day equivalent of the New Deal. Relentlessly shine the spotlight on housing, inflation, healthcare and education.
6. Transition away from the "old guard" like Schumer/Pelosi and put the spotlight on Millennial and Gen Z officials and politicians who are just as sick and tired of the same old shit as everyone else.
7. Continue to actually give a fuck about optics and start appealing to segments of middle, rural and inner-city America that felt left behind by the party and strategically present depictions and examples of the same people coming together in solidarity with demographics they wouldn't usually be associated with, and vice versa.
8. Strategically and sensibly distance the party from its stereotypical association with some of the more egregious examples of pointless culture war bullshit unless in situations where groups' direct and immediate safety + freedoms are at risk.

A lot of that sounds good, they just need to do the difficult task of condensing that down into like 30-60 second single sentence quips. I feel like that is where republicans kill democrats. They just continuously get to be like "Shut up, nerd. You're for open borders and we'll protect America and make you rich!" while the democrat sits there and um, actuallys them for 30 minutes while they've moved onto their next talking point.
