As for goop guy, I don't think that's technically a boss. You can just walk through the room using cover. Probably killable but you don't have to and it doesn't seem meant to be practical without some upgrade to make it so.

Yeah, I did manage to kill the goop guy but for a second I was wondering if it was even possible cause it took so long

As for the latter, I did think of that but I was too stubborn to give up lol
