Topic	Is it worse to call a woman a girl or a female?

"There are more male users on this board than female users on this board" is a perfectly fine sentence. "I'd rather hang out with men than females" is a stranger thing to day because it uses "men" for human adult males, but "females" is almost used as if women weren't actually human. It's a consistency thing basically. That and context.
