What will be your first flavour? Mint?

I'm currently trying that out, and I also plan to try out Ubuntu and Zorin, but from what I've seen so far, I'm definitely leaning towards Mint.

As a Linux user and person who lives on the command line for my job:

Windows 11 is fine. People just like to complain about the current version of Windows up until Microsoft stops supporting it, then it was the best thing ever and Microsoft are assholes for discontinuing support for it. Rinse and repeat.

I won't stop other people from using it. Honestly up until a few years ago I was never really that bothered with Windows upgrades, but I find I've been becoming more conscious (and probably a little paranoid) over my digital footprint as time goes by.
Besides, I've been looking for a personal digital project to focus on. Switching to Linux seem like a good avenue to explore, and so far, I've encountered no real downsides.

I'm still forced to work with Windows at work, so I'll definitely stay up to date on Windows shenanigans.
