BlackMageJawa 08/22/25 2:56:31 PM #2: | It's good. The combat takes a while to get used to, but I think that's an issue with every Xenoblade game. It's got an interesting plot that nicely carries on XB1's way of slowly drip-feeding you background information that makes you realise there's whole layers of stuff going on that you don't know about yet. The only major issue I have with it is the gacha system, and even that wouldn't be so bad if they just didn't block save-scumming. I hit a wall somewhat near the end where a combination of a difficulty spike and being disillusioned after popping a bunch of rare crystals and not getting a single unique Blade kind of put me off playing for a while, but I'll get back to it one day. Also, as I understand it, XB3 follows up plot elements from both prior games, so if you want to play that one it probably helps to have played 2 first. Not sure to what extent that's actually necessary though. --- The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil ... Copied to Clipboard! |
