| Thorn 08/14/25 8:59:59 AM #465: | Oh, this would absolutely be dead on arrival for Ukraine (who is not represented at Trump's meeting with Putin, nor is Europe) but the danger would be if Putin accepts (and I think the smart thing would be to do so if these are the terms - when the fuck else are you getting an in to Alaska? Just take a few years to rebuild and restock before invading again like with Crimea) you absolutely know that Trump will immediately turn on Ukraine and do everything in his power to browbeat them into taking it - cutting off all support/aid, etc. It'd be up to Europe to keep Ukraine supplied. --- May you find your book in this place.
