Trucy is really fun in aa4, does basically less than nothing in aa5, and then is redeemed in 6-2. I think if nothing else aa6 pleases me for its depiction of women characters who are just exceptionally competent, and trucy finally getting to have a showcase in game of just being a great magician feels so good and earned! The moment in the cross examination when you convince her to believe in herself over the prosecution's lies is everything.

Speaking of which, Rayfa is criminally low. I have spent this topic complaining about spirit of justice in service of defending by far its best character, the one thing really truly great to come from it, Rayfa herself. As with trucy, I think the silly tsundere gimmick works because Rayfa is not only a spoiled brat but also exceptionally skilled and smart. It makes the endgame turnaround feel earned and worthwhile...unlike most of the other twists in this game. Also the dance of devotion choreography is great and I watched the full thing every time.
