They actually made a rule in my city where people on bikes can pretty much do whatever they want in terms of running red lights and stop signs if they think they can make it. Motorcycles are allowed to drive down the center of two lanes, inches from other cars, to get to the front of the line (theres a word for it, but I forgot).
