| Topic | I thought crash out meant you were going to sleep |
| NoxObscuras 03/19/25 11:28:04 PM #15: | IronChef_Kirby posted... Crash = Go to sleepThis. The definition didn't change, some people are just remembering the lingo wrong. It was always just "crash" when you were talking about going to sleep and it still means that. Adding "out" to it is what changes the meaning. Time posted... it's like how young people think "out of pocket" means crazy when it means "unavailable" in office lingo. Now this is one I've never heard used in that way. But yeah I googled it and it was used to mean "unavailable" or "out of reach" as far back as 1908. I'm 35 and I've only ever heard of it used to mean that someone said something crazy. --- Steam/Xbox/PSN = NoxObscuras ... Copied to Clipboard! |
