Just from a casting stand point he wasn't particularly noteworthy due to him not being as handsome as Brosnan or Connery. My problem with Craig as Bond was he was too much of a thug... which tracks if you remember the period of movies being made at the time (like his Bond was a discount Jason Bourne). Being like that is fine for something like Cowboys and Aliens, but he never really felt like a Bond I wanted to follow. Tyranthraxus posted...
