I said eventually. It's a big problem if you come back 4 years later and are running the same shit. It's going to give way. Again maybe it wouldn't have if the voters had actually had some say in who the candidate was. Plus as the previous poster said Covid had a lot to do with his 2020 loss.

If a president is so unpopular that internal polls are showing him possibly losing Democratic stronghold states to Donald fuckin Trump, maybe running that guy's VP might not go so well. But the way everything was done so late in the game they really didn't have any other choice but to do that. It was obvious since the very start Biden shouldn't be running for a second term and there was plenty of time to figure it out. The party leadership/donors chose not to.
