| Topic | What is better for non-fully-voiced video games? Banjo babble or canned phrases? |
| LostForest 01/24/25 8:53:00 PM #1: | Which do prefer for video games that don't have full-on voice acting for all of its dialogue? Random voice noises being played in typewriter fashion for the dialogue's duration I.e. Banjo Kazooie, Thousand Year Door Remake, etc. OR Occasional voice acting for certain dialogue lines, but supplemented with mostly generic phrases/vocalisms that may or may not actually match up to the current dialogue? Stuff like, "Hmm..." and "Okay!" or "Let's go!", which matches the tone of the current dialogue? I.e. Pokemon Masters, older Tales Of games, etc. --- http://www.dracanea.com NB, curry fan, Top 10 lister, indie dev, gym hitter, musician, et al. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
