I went to the NY Switch Experience event back in January 2017 thanks to @Manocheese and I liked what I saw. We got a tote bag filled with small items like pins and a Switch-themed cookie. We got to play demos of each launch title like 1, 2, Switch and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. You could take a +1 with you with the ticket so I took my brother to that experience event. It was 2 hours to get a hands on experience with the Switch so I definitely recommend going to this.
