I used to have faith that things could work out alright in the long run, and would gladly listen and offer my perspective to people who felt lost, or exchange perspectives in a respectful manner, even if those perspectives would differ, with near-infinite patience.

These days however, I've pretty much lost both patience and faith, and aside from being good at my job and my hobbies, I honestly feel no motivation to connect with people at this point.
I feel like it's no use, as the average person apparently looks no further than the occasional controversial headline on social media, let alone consider the fact that what happens today can significantly impact what happens in a few years, or even decades from now.

So yeah, not feeling particularly nice right now.
