I think you guys are making this a much bigger deal than it is. I guarantee you I can take a person who got an education from an accredited university and find out they didn't know the numbers we use are Arabic numbers. While it should be common knowledge, it takes only one day to teach it, and there's very little reason to repeat it again.

btw, I see on this board a theme that Dems shouldn't try to court GOP voters. People are saying there's no point. And in the short term, sure, it might win Democrats elections by focusing on people who might have a chance at voting for them. BUT, you understand that without these "uneducated" voters, there are no elections to win. Make fun of them, call them idiots, say "these people are the reason why we lost this election.." do all of the above. But after this election, understand that these people are necessary to win elections. Ignoring them will only be at the party's own peril.

Biden won an election in 2024. And I have no doubt that the party can retake the house in 2026. I have 0 doubts on that. If Trump and the GOP can't take care of their needs (and I don't know how they could do that, given their platform), the Democrats can and WILL court those voters over.
