In a vacuum I would've preferred to nominate Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea or Let England Shake but this is one of the few albums I like that could fit the theme for this cycle. I think this project is admirable both for how much of a departure from Harvey's previous work it is and how thoroughly it commits to bringing out this haunted, gothic aesthetic. 4/5 --- What says dunnock, drush, or dove?
