Snowfield The Merciless Savior Snowfield > Quatera Woods > No Turning Back > The Merciless Savior > Challenge > Prontera Field No Turning Back - 7.5 ending's sick, buildup's aight but wish it was more interesting Quatera Woods - 8 not a favorite Ys song but it's solid Prontera Field - 5.5 guitar sounds good but the composition is repetitive as all hell and the chopping doesn't really work for me and there's this weird popping instrument near the beginning that would be a far greater knock on the song's score if it lasted for longer and the vocals are unnecessary yeah I don't get it Snowfield - 8.5 absolutely fucking beautiful song. it's no SotSG, but eh they're entirely different kinds of songs Challenge - 6 the beginning makes it seem like "oh this is gonna go somewhere really fucking cool isn't it I can't wait for the drop" and then it just goes fucking nowhere the entire time and it sucks The Merciless Savior - 7 I don't get it. maybe it's the sort of song where I'd really like it with different instruments or smth, but it all just kinda blends together for me and doesn't have the energy to keep me invested (and it's clearly not trying to be a calm song either, so it just kinda lands in the somewhat boring area) --- Erica, she/her.
