They tried to charge me 200 and claim it was a virus not covered by the warranty that was active. Yeah that shit wouldn't fly where I live. The retailer would get slammed if they didn't remedy a faulty product. In hindsight I should've gone that route with the Ayaneo, but shipping it around seemed like more hassle than replacing a battery, especially when I wanted to get the dodgy one disposed of ASAP so had to open it up anyway.
