a lot of work has been done on the already existing characters which id think would slow the production of new ones but maybe they had enough new staff to cover it.

new tutorial will get you a 7day reward calendar which lets you get banana guard for free . also lady banana guard skin
returning beta players who log in by 6/11 get the s1 premium pass for free. will get jason as first reward
all returning beta players get free finn skin, banana guard announcer pack , and a special ringout
high value items (skins, taunts, currency, ringouts) are included in both free/paid passes
premium currency in both passes. can earn enough currency in one pass to buy the next
S1 pass will last 8 weeks and the final tier will be repeatable
character tokens being removed. those who have them will keep them but no new ones. same for battle pass tokens
introducing fighter currency which is obtained in game and used to unlock fighters. also a currency for perks.
prestige currency. get some every time you get a cosmetic item and used to unlock prestige cosmetics which are the rarest in the game. all returning players will get prestige currency based on whatever theyve previously bought/unlocked
gold is being removed. players will receive special cosmetics based on how much gold they had. this is the only way to receive these cosmetics
perk system being reworked. all perks reset
player and account mastery reset to lvl1 for everyone to make things fair. mastery reworked

sounds better. as long as it doesnt take for fucking ever to complete the pass at least
