Badlands Les Enfants du Paradis After years of trying, we finally got a RuneScape song into VGMC! (and imo the best one at that) Alternative Root was added into the game as one of the first new songs after the game changed its sound engine (to not just use the default Windows MIDI soundfont), and you can really tell that Mod Bond put everything he had into showcasing it with this piece. Nocturnal is probably the weakest song in today's pack, which just says a lot about how good everything is today. Hmmmm Obstructor really sounds like something I've heard before oh wait it's the very song that it's up against today! It's good, but I feel the contest strength of "copycat Einhnder" is a lot stronger when its opponent isn't just literally Einhnder. Badlands takes this pretty easily, both good though. Oh hi another one of my noms today. Y'know it was actually someone using Les Enfants in a VGMGG that finally convinced me to play through SubaHibi. Still a surprisingly close match here.
