Which is where the political part comes in. Like it or not, realize it or not, accept it or not, pretty much everyone adds their own biases when discussing current events. Even choosing which stories to mention and which to ignore (let alone which news sites you choose to link to) is playing into bias. Generally speaking, I agree with the rest of your post, except this part. I regularly would simply post a headline of something, link the article, and paste the article text. Nothing else. No bolding, no editorializing, no additional input from me. My entire topic creation style for newsworthy articles was designed to avoid TC slants and just let people talk.
