Both of them would have the survival skills necessary to avoid the zombies to get out and since they wouldn't be exploring the manor they're less likely to bump into some of the nastier zombies like hunters. The issue is that since they're not STARS, no one's going to come to rescue them before the city gets napalmed, so if they try and survive in the city they eventually get taken out with everyone else, but if there's a means to get out they would absolutely be able to. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
