Oh, on a similar note to the above, there is an idiotic conspiracy theory that is stupid enough to be its own conspiracy theory-- predictive programming. This conspiracy theory claims that The Powers That Be broadcast their intended conspiracies/assassinations/etc. ahead of time (this is why you see all of those references to The Simpsons in conspiracy screeds) The purpose? To desensitize us and make us docile sheeple to the atrocity/authoritarianism when it hits. This includes AI is a Crapshoot and dictatorship movies. The conspiracists claim that these desensitize us even when the majority of said media portrays such things as being overwhelmingly negative (because simply being exposed to the idea desensitizes us to it according to them)
I've seen others claim that this has nothing to do with attempts to desensitize or indoctrinate. Instead, they are arrogant dogwhistle-ish boasts, because The Powers That Be are just bored.
The only one I've seen that actually makes sense (from a tinfoil standpoint), and is a very obscure one, is that these are actually black magic curses, because in order for such curses to work, the sorceror has to inform the victim what he intends to do to them. (This falls apart with the 2004 Indonesian Tsunami, since plenty of the victims never consumed media.) This is why some hurricanes have pentagrams for hurricane eyes (they were created by the gubmit weather control machine, BTW)

The conspiracy subreddit posts about this shit constantly.

But in general it's almost everything on this page, but not the stuff about aliens as much.
