reseed your lawn with clover and never mow again, or any other species that is native to your area, and also get some keystone plants so your local bees don't die.
maybe get a swarm trap box too and start keeping some bees of your own.

also stop fertilizing your lawn unless you hate the environment, then go ahead. if you're gonna keep shit grass like 99% of americans, use mycorrhizae inoculant instead of toxic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
you can grow what's called a cover crop or other crop that acts a pest deterrent. they also help with reducing weeds.

if you have an HOA that doesn't allow this, then I'm sorry but that sucks.
