It is possible scum thought I was BP and that Corrik could get away with the claim, I had not thought of that at all actually.

If we're descending into role madness for a moment then I'm imagining a scum role that not only sends the Kill but simultaneously Watches the target.

This would let them know if you were targeted by someone else in addition to them, and if they saw you weren't they could assume BP.

Or if they went a step further they might think that 3rd party roles are sometimes granted a single use BP to prevent freak accidents from ending their fun early. So maybe he thought he was going 1 for 1 with a serial killer?

But that would be stupid too because if you're on a scum team that just lost an absurd role day 1 you would WANT an extra source of kills in the game helping you out.
