Today was a real nightmare

I went into Chipotle to get some food, everything was (relatively) fine until I was walking out the door. Some creepy dude (who I noticed was eyeing me the whole time) taps me on the shoulder out of nowhere, asks me for my name. I just respond with, "Oh, hi, I'm '
Kate...", as I have no idea who this guy is.

He then asks me where I'm going and why I'm in a hurry. (I just wanted to get away from him and go back to enjoying my day) He seems persistent, and won't let up... I tell him that I'm going to Starbucks (Which was a lie. I just did not want to be anywhere that was not in public with this dude)

He still doesn't let up, follows me all the way all the way to Starbucks. The entire time, he's asking for all sorts of personal information, like where I live, what I'm doing later, etc. I give him a fake address and tell him that I'll be at a big party with all my friends. At this point I started to get really shook up. Why does he need this anyways? I try and get a feeling for what he's up to, asking him some stuff in return. At this point I'm scared. No matter what I say or do, he won't let up. I don't know if this guy thinks I like him or what, but it's pretty obvious that he's one of those redpill/tate people and just wouldn't let up. At this point I'm terrified.

We get to Starbucks and I go to order a venti frap with an Angel Shot, just praying that the staff there will realize what's going on fast enough. I don't know if he heard that and understood it or what, but he started loudly declaring that we are ordering separately which scares me. I try telling him that I'm going to a party, that all my friends are waiting for me and will be very worried if I don't show up soon.

He mostly just ignores what I said, and demands that I give him my phone number. Luckily, he had apparently forget his phone in Chipotle. I thought this was perfect, but he just won't let up until I give him my phone and let him put his number in it. I allow this, just hoping that he doesn't try to drag me back to Chipotle to get his phone. Luckily, he runs out to go get it, says he'll be back quickly. At this point a Starbucks employee comes up to me and let's me know that he understood the message and that if he comes back and won't leave me alone, he'll let the police know. (Thank God, I was so scared that he was going to miss it and this guy was gonna follow me home)

I explain exactly what happened to the Starbucks employee, and he assures me that he will not let this man follow me home. When the guy comes back, the Starbucks employee let's him know that he is no longer welcome there. He just replies to him that nothing is wrong and tries to strike up a conversation as if nothing had happened... the Starbucks guy let's him know that he has to leave and that he is calling the cops. Thank God, the guy finally leaves.

After that, the police and Starbucks handled the situation, and I was free to leave. I got a ride home just to be extra safe. This day has been so stressful and really had me shaken up.
