It's fine to blame & condemn Hamas for their behavior but there is no equivalence between the two at this point and bringing it up feels like it's deliberately in bad faith considering the sheer magnitude of the war crimes the IDF is currently committing. Israel had made peace and given Hamas what they've wanted over the years. Hamas just uses the down time to build up weapons, dig tunnels, and wait for their chance to break the peace. I don't know why people think the IDF was going to let it slide this time.
