| LightningStrikes 04/26/24 7:43:51 AM #145: | The Wii sold a tonne of software, had a very good attach rate, and people did play it a lot while it was new, the people didnt buy any games for it just Wii Sports or Wii Fit thing was always a myth but it crashed hard much earlier than anticipated. It was selling faster than the PS2 ever did at points but hit a wall eventually. The same went for software, software sales just collapsed after about four years.
