Why the fuck does Israel need aid. So I heard an explanation about this that makes sense as far as the basic why... Apparently Israel was about to lose the Yam Kippur war and the were threatening to use nukes to go out with a bang. We stepped in to help them to avoid a nuclear catastrophe and we've been supporting them ever since.
