And sometimes it helps you realize the situation actually isn't as bad as you originally thought. If it's something you're telling someone else, you probably shouldn't. Anytime life takes a shit on me and someone tries to cheer me up by telling me it could've shat more so I should be grateful I want to put their head through a wall.
