It is addictingI don't think anyone opposed to the bill is saying Tik Tok doesn't have any problems. But those problems are endemic to social media in general. Our issue is that Tik Tok is clearly being singled out. And no one has found any evidence that Tik Tok is any worse than other social media. All they have is vague accusations (with no evidence other than the fact that they used to be headquartered in China) that the CCP is controlling the company and using it to spy on us somehow. So now we have this xenophobic law that will take away something that younger people really enjoy, and since it leaves all the other tech companies alone, there will be no benefit to society.
