I really couldn't stand the whole "I'm not touching you" joke, and I couldn't suspend my disbelief concerning how foolish the maid's behavior was given the premise. This bugged me early on too, like she'll literally die if she touches him yet she constantly hovers an inch away. Then, a few episodes in, they had a snowball fight and the maid was doing some Matrix-style impossible dodges. Like they even reference The Matrix even though the show is set in the olden days lol.
