| FoolFantastic 04/23/24 12:37:24 PM #35: | "Tank!" is pretty much the greatest theme song ever written (the other contender being the theme from Twin Peaks). Few shows make such perfect use of its music, but the team behind Cowboy Bebop knew exactly what they were getting with Yoko Kanno. She is not merely scoring scenes - in several of the best moments, it's more that the scenes are set to her music. As such, the songs have a leading quality where many soundtracks try to operate in the background. The wide range of genres make another strong selling point. This is one of the few OSTs that I would actually recommend as its own entity.
