I find is weird some of the people who hate the TV show for dumbing down fallout never had an issue with the changes fo3 bought in. I assume that was their first Fallout game. I personally haven't been bothered by any of the games other than the shitty ones (Brotherhood of Steel), because I never thought the lore or world was very serious. I mean Fallout 1 has the telephone box from Dr. Who, Alien spaceship, whacky radiation zombies, just all kinds of crazy stuff. I don't think it's meant to be taken too seriously. Especially not after Fallout 2.
