longest without returning home: probably tens of thousands of miles between summer of 07 and thanksgiving of 07, but it involved a lot of waiting at truck stops between deliveries and sleeping in my van. In one day: probably from here (TN) to austin, TX, which is just under a thousand miles. Left first thing in the morning, got there late at night. Over a couple of days: probably green bay WI to whichever border town in TX that i drove to.
