It freaking blew my mind when I walked into a game store and saw it playing 1 for 1 identical to the arcades. That had never really happened before for a contemporary game without some expensive hardware backing it, and even then they were 2D games. $200 for hardware that plays arcade perfect ports? Sign me up. It might not actually be the most technically impressive, but it left one hell of an impression on me. --- Existence. Existence is but shallow question with no answer.
