Also intend to play blind, I just want to know one thing: is anything permanently missable, especially stars of destiny? Suikoden franchise especially the older titles had some pretty nasty time windows for some of the recruits....

Look at it through the lens of inflation. $50 dollars today is the equivalent of $60 in 2020.

That makes it even worse, lol

I'm not mad about it. I've reconciled that an early backer doesn't mean you get it for retail price; you just help get the game to its finish line. You're not buying a game - you're buying an idea on what you would like to be made. You're an investor. You're taking a risk. If you don't want to take that risk, wait until the game reaches its funding and releases in a few years.
Eh... I don't back many games, but this is the first one that right out of the gate was available for less than the backer tier to get a copy. It's not something I'm gonna rage about, but it feels kinda shitty.

Yea I heard if ya backed a physical copy you have to pay for shipping. Six dollars?!! People are angry they had to pay six extra dollars?!! Life is full of let downs at least this will be better than Mighty No. 009. Plus at the Kickstarter level the people are basically investors.

I will admit getting hit with a six dollar shipping fee I guess sucks when ya went in that deep, but hey life is full of unexpected charges :/
Well, the first guy said $28, which is a lot. But either he lives somewhere really remote or has a ton of shit coming if his is over 4x what most of ours is, so presumably he should've expected the high shipping cost.
