| LinkMarioSamus 04/18/24 5:11:37 AM #14: | Never been interested in Hellraiser and the first thing that comes to mind about the movie is Roger Ebert giving it 0.5/4 stars. He gave the same rating to the sequel and inducted it into his Most Hated Films list...which also includes stuff like The Usual Suspects and Stargate alongside more "conventionally" bad movies like Battlefield Earth, Catwoman, and North. Whatever I guess?
It was jarring to see Hellraiser ahead of Gremlins given that movie is generally given far more recognition plus Siskel & Ebert recommended it even at the time, but again I definitely get it. I'm a big fan of Gremlins myself but I'm also just generally into those Spielberg kind of movies. Albeit my favorite movie of his is actually Schindler's List. --- Why do people act like the left is the party of social justice crusaders? ... Copied to Clipboard! |
