Instant ramen and freshly made ramen are not really the same thing. I'm being kind of dramatic by saying I'm judgmental of people that prefer the junk version but to me its clearly vastly inferior.

And ramyeon is kind of deliberately a one-note product. It only exists as dried noodles with flavor packets. Which is fine and enjoyable but its simple. If you're expanding "Korean noodles" into , , , and stuff then that's a completely different conversation.
