TL;DW - everything you used to get is now worse by design, because we are all chumps. Like Uber eats offering you "priority delivery" at a premium, which just means...the driver won't make stops on the way to deliver your food...you know, like how food delivery always used to work. Subscription services and tier systems are just a way of making things actively worse for you so that you have to pay more to get what used to be offered.
