Every time this topic comes up, I need to reinforce the idea that being debit card only is dangerous.

You have no purchase protections, cash back opportunities are far less, and you don't build credit.

You are leaving free money on the table.

Also, having the Amex Plat as your only card is a bad idea. Unfortunately it's too late to get the gold card with a sign up bonus if you already have the plat. Might have to go with the blue cards but those aren't transferable rewards.
