it seems like it would speak to adults who have/have had kids

childless adults watching this blatant toddler show is weird af to me. there is stuff in there for adults and it's high quality entertainment for children, but it's not really all that different from sesame street in that respect imo

It's nothing like Sesame Street. Sesame Street is explicitly about kids learning in a kids show. There's nothing real about that world.

Bluey is a kids show with regular adult stuff happening around them that they don't know the context of.

But yes a lot of it is about raising kids today and how that changes our perspectives of things. So perhaps if you don't have kids you won't find it as relatable compared to people that do.

Just giving another perspective for a user that posted about it. They might be expecting like a Pixar-like appropriate for all ages thing. This isnt that. This is very squarely a show with a 2-5 year old intended audience, and their parents

I don't agree honestly. Bluey is very much a family show. The closest comparison is maybe Rugrats but even then I'd say this show deals with a lot more mature stuff most of the time.
