It sucks to think this site could end up closing permanently, I've spent a lot of time on CE. GameFAQs probably won't close in the near future, but it becoming a zombie Fandom site is very likely. My guess is that all social boards will eventually be closed, probably around the time of the 2024 US election. I don't see them closing video game boards soon but they might eventually just say screw it and close all boards and leave GameFAQs a carcass with the lowest maintenance possible in hopes of getting ad revenue for people using the site for old game guides (since no one will be making new guides since they completely killed the community) --- We all live in a Yellow SUV! a Yellow SUV! <cite>YellowSUV posted [p:979931395] in Current Ev...
