I've been looking through temperatures for the last few summers in various places in New England and I haven't seen anything close to what we get down here, not in severity or duration. I've actually gotten pretty heat tolerant in recent years and I have little issue spending time outside up to 100F, even when it's humid, so those summer highs in the 90s still look great to me. I had mosquitos in my house in January, so bugs aren't much of a deterrent either <_<

The cooler months there are infinitely less appealing but that tradeoff is still an interesting prospect that I want to experience for myself. I know I could be absolutely wrong and hate it but I hate it here too so

Oh I do love New England. Don't get me wrong, but you have to be rather hardy to make it though the tougher months....or just a crazy skier.

I've spent many of days in Vermont and it is as charming as it is made out to be. Not without issues, but the ideal isn't a fake vibe.
I am in New York, but I only live like an hour from Arlington, where Norman Rockwell did some of his work.
