I used to drink smoothies as a lunch replacement too. I never put veggies or yogurt in them though. I'd do a bit of juice, strawberries, bananas and sometimes blueberries. The blueberries though, tend to give the smoothie a very gritty consistency. Wasn't a fan of that, but I know they're good for you.

I think the idea of adding protein to it is a good one too. Should make it a bit more filling. With just fruit, I was pretty damn hungry by dinner time

What you really want is to add fiber. More fiber = less hungry because it's stuck in the stomach longer.

Spinach is one of the better sources of fiber that's commonly used in smoothies.

Get yourself an immersion blender because you can basically just rinse those off under the faucet and be done with it. A regular blender is too much work unless you're making a lot. Like for a party or something.
