As I said in in earlier post its going for a sort of "note book doodle" feel for the designs. They are suppose to be off putting and ugly. Again this does affect any other version of these characters. The old shows still exist, the old movies still exist, the old and correct comics still exist. This is just one new take on these characters. And it was a good movie.
